This project is a part of the Okanogan Subbasin Habitat Implementation Program (OSHIP).

Wanacut Creek Projects

Developed an Alternative Water Source- Wanacut Creek had livestock grazing and watering within the creek causing damage to the creek's banks and increasing nutrient loading into the creek. Off-site watering for these animals in Wanacut Creek through an existing well and installation of a hardened rock crossing for cow watering and for human access to multiple pastures.

Wanacut Creek Livestock Fencing - one-quarter mile of fence was installed on one-third a mile of fence on both sides of Wanacut Creek to fence off livestock usage in the creek and direct the livestock to hardened rock crossings.
